To all those pilot aspirants and pilots,

Below are the latest vacancies still availabe in Air Asia:-

Minimum Requirements

Cadet Pilots


a) Malaysian citizen, aged between 18 and 28 as at date of application

b) Either : Passed SPM (or its equivalent that is recognised by Malaysian Government) with at least A- in English and Mathematics and B+ in Physics taken at one sitting. (Those from the Arts stream should have at least an A- in General Science) or Possess a Diploma/Degree in Engineering or Science - related disciplines with CGPA 3.0 and above and at SPM level scored at least B in the subjects mentioned above taken in one sitting.

c) Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia both written and spoken.

d) Must be physically and mentally fit with good eyesight (visual acuity of at least 6/60 without optical aid, correctable to 6/6 and not colour blind).

e) Minimum height of 163 cm (5ft 3in) and

f) Be prepared to sign a training bond with a surety.

Minimum Requirements (based in Malaysia)

First Officer

  • A valid DCAM ATPL/Frozen ATPL with valid instrument and type rating
  • A valid DCAM medical certificate. (Class 1)
  • Holds a valid Malaysian flying licence issued by DCA Malaysia
  • Malaysian Citizen or Malaysian Permanent Resident
Captain

PILOTS WITH VALID MALAYSIA ATPL


A MINIMUM TOTAL hours 5500 of Which shall include either criteria 1 or 2 , as described below:-
  • 2000 hours (Airline Operational) (EFIS/FMS) MULTI PILOT JET / NOT JET or
  • 1000 hours on Airbus TYPE A320/A330/A340
  • Age Limit : Minimum 26 years old, Maximum 60 years
PILOTS WITH VALID FOREIGN ICAO ATPL

A MINIMUM TOTAL hours 6000 of which shall include:
  • At least 2500 hours (Airline Operational) MULTI PILOT JET ONLY (EFIS/FMS) above 20,000 kgs
  • Age limit : Minimum 26 years, Maximum 60 years
  • Required Documents
  • For Captain applications, minimum Documents must be uploaded otherwise, the application will be rejected.
Malaysian Citizens or Malaysian Permanent Residents

Non Malaysian Applicants ( Expatriates Applicant )

1: Copy of Passport ( first page )
2: DCA Form 20A ( must be typed and not handwritten)
3: Security Clearance Form ( must be typed and not handwritten)
