Choosing the Best Flying School

Hi Capt Lim,
 
Is there a universally accepted ranking of pilot schools in the world? Like business schools, Financial Times publishes the world ranking of universities each year for the benefits of readers.
 
I am curious to know if there is such a ranking system.

If no, how do I find the ranking of pilot schools to choose from a myriad of flying schools worldwide?

Hi MSL,
 
As far as I know, there is no universally accepted ranking of any flight training colleges or schools.
 
The closest that I have come across is one from the Flight School Reviewer which rates a school based on the following criteria:
  1. Instruction & Ground School
  2. School Facilities
  3. Aircraft & Courses
  4.  Cost
I cannot verify the information as I believe there are a few other good flying schools not listed here.
